Blah. War dominates my thoughts. Im loathe to ramble on again, reading it becomes boring.
I am impressed with the growing rift between Canada. Nothin like a misbehaving stepchild.
Canada has 31 troops in Iraq. The US intends to increase the number of American troops to 200,000.
This would be a good time to decriminalize marijana. The current level of world protest is like 10 times what it was at the height of the vietnam war.
Maybe north america could go back to the 60's if we injected them with pseudo illegal drugs when they are busy shooting at iraqis.

Consider the last gulf war. Consider Kuwait. A country in control of 9% of the worlds available oil reserves. Consider the oil field "previously thought to be an independent resivoir" that was discovered to be an extension of iraq's oil field. Consider the iraqis losing 13 billion dollars worth of oil in a year. Consider Oil. Here long before us, oil can be used to produce numerous products, including gasoline. We have no idea what it is, or where it came from. We suspect it might be massive amounts of plant and animal matter from long ago. We have no idea how to make it, and as such it is a non renewable resource. Consider Saudi Arabia. Consider that it shares an oil field with kuwait, with each country recieving 50% of the oil profits. Consider that Saudi Arabia openly shares its wealth with other countries. Saudi Arabia follows muslim law. In fact, Saudi Arabia holds the most holiest of sites to the muslim religion, Mecca. Consider the formation of OPEC, designed to benefit countries whos major export is oil. Consider Iraq. Consider that they are the worlds second largest oil producer, after Saudi Arabia.

American forces in Saudi Arabia during the first gulf war angered many muslim states and organizations. The united states was attacked on september 11th. A war with afghanistan (read: bombing) followed. America announced the "axis of evil" countries: Iran, Iraq and North Korea. America demands that Saddam Hussein disarm or else. Hussein stalls, politically playing the situation. America bombs Iraq. America states that the rebuilding of Iraq will be done by the United states alone, with the US running all hospitals and schools in the country. America will install a puppet government, and maintain close trade with Iraq. America will kill Saddam Hussein and Osama if they can. Many more innocents will be killed trying. The non renewable resource of oil will be better managed (read: American managed) and the region will profit.

Stability will return to the region, Israel aside. The remaining Arab states will continue to hate Israel for the annihilation of Palestine. If the hate continues long enough, the terror will be unfounded. Kuwait plans to allow American companies the rights to kuwaiti oil fields. Iraqi and kuwaiti oil will be more readily available to America.
If North Korea smartens up and develops its country, it will remain unattacked. A nuclear North Korea under the leadership of Kim Jong Il seems unlikely. America will continue to enjoy the lifestyle they have become accustomed to. Water and wood shipped from Canada fuel and expanding country.

Canada will also prove to be a reliable alternative to oil based wars. The tar sands of Alberta have more oil than all of Saudi Arabia, and if technology could be improved, more oil than all of the Middle East!
The oil Canada already produces is shipped to the United States, refined, and sold back to Canada. We will prove to be very useful to the United states, in terms of Water and Oil.

It is unfortunate that discussion on the latest "war" is reduced to "I support America" and "I do not support the war."
America is doing the world a favor by removing Saddam Hussein.
America is doing itself a favour in the occupation and rebuilding of Iraq.
Iraq will have ten times the casualties than the United States.
George Bush is not in charge. He is merely a public figure.
War solves nothing, it is merely an excersise in power.
To kill Saddam Hussein would take only a few skilled assasins, waging war for this purpose is a tactic of "shock and awe", freely admitted by America.
The ultimate lessons in this conflict: 1) America is indeed powerful.
2) You had better go nuclear damn fast if you dont want America beating your ass down when you start ruckus.
3) War begets war.
4) Time travel could solve all of humanities problem's, but is more likely to be used in greed.

My writing skills feel weak.
I think it may be all this nice weather we are having.
Slooooooooow assed day. Listened to a three hour lecture on WINS and DHCP, after wakin up dizzy and late. Boooooo fer that.
Making matters worse was the woman who stole my seat from last semester, and edged me out for a lab monitor job.
A lab monitor for a classroom fulla girls, no less. She sure didnt get it cause shes more competent than me, this I know for sure.
First time I can remember that ive been sexually discriminated against. Touche. Guess the teacher didnt fancy settin me loose in her all female classroom.

Food makes me fault tolerant.

American Idol is on again, I think its the finals or something. I sure hope so.... CTV can stop playin commercials for it anytime now...
Finals or not, its a whole lot less entertaining than watching people that CANT sing. Sigh...

Pig snerv.

Game show for the disabled! As if I wouldnt watch this... as long as the contestants were willing.... you never know with China....

Micheal Buble gives you fever. Beats American Idol anyday.

Moodbuilder? Im not sure what to say about this. Fun for like 3 minutes :)

Snotbomb lets you hear maniacal giggling as you mouse over weird lookin creatures. Why? Cause people put weird ass things on the internet.

Kick the kitty!...giggle....

Please... you cant argue with Dr.Phil.
He has a solid mantra of accountability, that in theory, solves the worlds problems.
He allows noone to be a "victim" of society, and instead shifts blame back to where it belongs.
Gotta love that Dr. Phil.

Best thing about one way streets? Only gotta look one way when crossin em.

Sooooo... this war thing. Scary stuff, no? Too bad Dr Phil cant book Dubya and Hussein.
Too bad you have to have a solid opinion to talk about the whole war issue.... I have mixed feelings.
First... I want em to stop callin it a "war." I mean cmon. The US is poised to drop 3000 missiles into Baghdad tommorow. That aint war, folks... thats bombin the shit out of another country. One of the chief reasons that they say they will drop those bombs? Cause Saddam kills his own people. His own innocent people, women and children. 3000 bombs will kill alot of innocent people.

A deadline of St Patrick's day? Very sneaky sir.... make sure they are already celebrating.... THEN start droppin them bombs.

Last "war" I experienced? Gulf war, 1993. Propaghanda and hundreds of thousands of people killed aside, (ahem) end result? Gas prices fell back to acceptable levels.
Greed is an infallible human trait, and is the central theme in most, if not all conflicts in history. Everyone get all the money they can, and screw the little guy. Over. And over, AND OVER. Who cares, right? I do, but well, who cares?

You know what im gonna do? Im gonna purchase a plot of land with a natural spring on it. Make sure there is enough land to grow food, enough spices to make that food not suck, and enough firepower to defend that land If I gotta. Im weird. I think about these things, like the collapse of society. With a defunct government, a violent assed neighbor, and a ton of people that are FAAAAR from self sufficient, sometimes I dont feel so good about where I live. Canada has the most fresh water in the world. Great to be here, but water is gonna be in short supply in 20 years. Its funny how there is no long term plan for society. No commitee (that is taken seriously) foretells problems in the near future. The middle east is quickly going to be out of water. What are they gonna do? Probably fight. Thats how you solve things over there. Lots and lots of fighting. Birthplace of man and all that.

Canada is a great place, resource wise. Too bad about where its located tho. Offical Bitch of the US.

I think that TV is making me angry. Feeding me full of lies, it is. So is writing about society. There are no SOLUTIONS.... drives me crazy.
Ifilm. Packed full of video goodness. Lots of fun stuff.

Micheal Larson. Heard of this guy? My hero of the moment.

The truth revealed. This is what prompted my ranting.

Krazi Kim Jong Il. The next stop in the axis of crazed assed dictators / evil.

Bubble pets. Tee hee! disgustingly cute.

War Journalism. This fueled my ranting.

Digital Blasphemy. Sweet backgrounds, edges webshots off the desktop.

Don Johnson is a criminal. No doubt in my mind. Thanks, Internet!

I only live 2x. Rather pointless cartoon, but dig that catchy song!

Did my lab test this mornin.... it totally kicked my ass. I was pretty sure I understood IP security, but i was among the last 15 finished the exam.
Ended up takin a two mark penalty to get it to work, and likely cause some joker thought it would be smart to set their IP to the IP i needed to connect to. Tech speak aside, someone fucked me over. No way of knowin who it is, or if they did it intentionally, but they angered many a student. Tough stuff.
THEN... on my way inside, I slipped on ice, fell on my ass. The anger is brewing. Im sick and tired of this winter weather, and Im sick and tired of environment canada changing their minds about lettin the weather let up. It was supposed to RAIN today, damnit! Then tommorow? Sunshine. I was thinking beers and frisbee... but now my feeble plans have been crushed like a grape under a chileans drity foot. Grrrrr....

Good news? I make a mean taco.

Mister cartoon...Flash Tatoo gallery. Found via Ty
AngryNakedPat! Check ALL of this shit out... funny to no end. Also found via Ty.
Spartacus... My new reference for all things that are history. Almost makes me wish i had papers to write ;)

You know how yer supposed to test a page in different browsers and different resolutions?
I didnt do that. I had no idea, until today... how horrible this site looks under IE.
I sure hope I can fix this.... stupid tables.... stupid HTML.... stupid everything..

This is pretty sweet..
Help me to build an empire!

Decided to drive my ass back to school on Saturday, hopin to avoid the storm that was a comin. Hit the storm dead on, and a three hour, nothin but straight highway trip suddenly became a five and a half hour survival test, complete with roadside wreckage, 3 mile an hour snowplows, and nowhere near enough places to stop and piss.
Look at the front of an amulance sometime. Says "ecnalubma". It seems like when it snows, people abandon all common sense. I had people braking down ice covered hills, transport trucks up the ass, and crazy notherners drivin full blast on unplowed highway, 4x4 a pumpin.

Sooooo.... about 45 minutes outta the N dot, I realized I had forgotten my keys. Oh glory day. Stayed at Scott's for the night, drank myself stupid, and payed for it the next day. Brava = liquid guts, I kid you not.

When I left it was like -1 outside. Now? oh... Josh is back at school... bring on the minus friggin 149 degree weather. I hate it.
Went shoppin today.. havin a vehicle opens up a whole load of options. Decided I would goto food basics instead of the usual no frills.
It was different to say the least. TONS of people in there.... a woman with three scarfs on her head, a guy and girl wearin cowboy hats, a kid with a three foot braided rat tail...lots of old people that would stop to talk to other old people right in the middle of the isles. It was still way more fun than no frills.... they had an entire section of this crazy Mr Gouda stuff.... cans of jackfruit? Rambutan? Magic sauce? Rose water? I totally wished I had a digital camera.... you gotta see it to believe it. Couldnt find a website... but found this and this while searchin. I debated buyin the magic sauce till i read the ingredients. Water, tomato, onion, spices. Maybe nex time, Gouda... Im sure we will meet again. The freezer had a discount meat section, and giant packages of meat for real cheap! No description... just "Meat...5.99"......"Meat...3.45" haha..
Had a blast anyway... Im sure ill go back there.
